Head, Herat & Hands.
In a culture that prioritises speed and convenience, taking a breath and rethinking design
is more crucial than ever, especially when it comes to the spaces we call home.
Design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a space where the soul feels at ease.
The environment in which we live shapes how we think, feel, and create.
When we see design as a process that integrates craft, we teach children what it truly means to make,
rather than just consume. Thoughtful design embraces simplicity, purpose, and meaning.
“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;
what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Creative Labs for Kids
In Italy, I had the privilege of leading creative workshops for children and teens, exploring Montessori
and Reggio, Children approaches before embracing Waldorf art-based learning.
This journey deepened my commitment to hands-on, holistic educatio, not only as an educator, but as a parent shaping a community.
“And then, above all, teach others how to do it.”
― Bruno Munari, Drawing a Tree
Teaching children to trust their hands in creation fosters more than skills: it builds confidence in their ability
to shape the world. Through craftsmanship and intentional design, we create spaces where future generations thrive, not just as individuals, but as part of a connected, thriving community.
